"Myshel is truly an anointed young woman and to experience her ministry is life-changing."
12x grammy award winner recording artist
Myshel is a beautiful, multi-gifted woman who uses every one of her gifts to uplift and encourages people all around the globe! A prolific speaker, recording artist, devoted wife, mother, and deep lover of the Lord JesusChrist, she finds the greatest joy in witnessing God's freedom over-take the room and break stubborn chains!!!
The deep-rooted seeds of ministry were sown as she traveled to many countries singing and preaching alongside her missionary father as a young woman. Her
mother, a native of West Africa, Ghana encouraged her to believe God for what seemed impossible. So with a heart full of dreams, she moved from her small hometown of Frankfort Ky, and headed to Nashville where she entered the Christian music arena playing a supporting role to many household names. She’s toured and sung background with Don Moen, Matthew West, Grammy Award-winning artist TobyMac, and American Idol’s Mandisa. The 10+ years spent in the background taught
her many incredible lessons but it wasn't until she was asked to join the staff of Nashville Church where Alvin & Cece (Winans) Love pastor, did “servant leader” take on a whole new meaning. Myshel served for 3 years as the membership coordinator, was a life group leader, was part of the NL leadership team, and preached at their annual women’s retreat. Cece Winans, is quoted as saying, “It’s a blessing to see what God is doing in the younger generation! Myshel is
truly an anointed young woman and to experience her ministry is life-changing. Myshel is beautiful inside and out with a desire to touch and inspire young girls and women around the globe! What can I say, I’m a fan”.
Myshel and her husband Michael recently relocated to Dallas, TX where she is on the worship team at Embassy City Church where Tim and Janese Rivers pastor. Since moving to Dallas, God has opened international doors. Myshel has ministered through leading worship and preaching in Metz, Nancy, Paris, France, and Kampala, Uganda. While in Uganda, Myshel also works alongside Go-Overflow ministries to set up medical clinics in several impoverished villages, rescue children from the slums and young girls from exploitation. Myshel has a heart for the nations and through the power of the Holy Spirit, goes wherever led to sing over and speak into the lives of the broken-hearted.
When ministering, Myshel has a way of simplifying what tends to seem complicated. She loves to empower others with the revelation of God's profound truth, confirm their identity in Christ and boldly shine the light on the lies that we tend to believe about God and ourselves. Myshel loves people and deeply desires to see them living in the freedom God intended. This is what fuels everything she does. “God really is good and many, inside and outside of the church, truly struggle to believe this. I love revealing the true nature of His heart for us. His truth dramatically enhances a life” ~MW!
The Kentucky native was elected by her peers to reign as “Miss Tennessee State University” where she received her degree in Political Science. In that same year, Myshel won the national title of “Miss National Black Hall of Fame”. She has used these platforms to inspire women to look beyond the surface to the radiant queen within. Myshel received her Masters of Organizational Leadership from Kings University in Southlake, TX.
